Ad Hoc is an improvisational study in utilizing humble materials - 1”x1” poplar and 15oz canvas - as well as minimal finishing to create a functional chair.
The focus of this project was on quick iteration and ideation. By leaning into the materiality of the paramenters, Ad Hoc combines a very structural base with a fluid seat to form a cohesive design language that wraps and supports the human form.
